Originally produced for my first dustcar race in a little over 48 hours.

Officially released in 2024 to celebrate 10 years in the fandom.

my days were already numbered
senior year of high school
enjoying my last summer

my last year at nerd summer camp
spending it with all my good friends

and over dinner two of them
starting dropping pony names
listening to them we thought
they had gone insane
turns out that they were genuine
you can only guess what happened then

this little show called my little pony

sneaking out under cover of night
down stairs to watch my little pony
better not let people find out
that I have became a brony

with all ninety one episodes
of pink cartoon horse wonder
a magic spell for five full weeks
I found myself under

and when I finally finished the show
to the pony fandom I could go

And there were PMVs and love fine tee's
and cancelled fourth anthology
and drawfriend art posts every day
and pony games that I can play
and episode analysis
and multi volume fan comics
and music made of every genre
and tons and tons of fandom drama

and though I wasn't there at the beginning
crashing into it all was so thrilling

I can't contain all the joy that I feel
and I know that I've gone insane

and they haunt me every day

it's been 3653 days¹
and people left,
and people came,
and people stayed

and I don't really like dwelling on the past too much,
but back in 2014,
BronyCon was still growing in attendance,
the world hadn't been shut down for a year due to a pandemic
and Obama was president

to my friends from these years
